      Clement Joseph Blum,  1933-2015,  age 82, passed away
Thursday, December 17, 2015.  He  was  born  August 1, 1933
in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.  He was the  son  of  Henry
Clement and  Josephine A. Blum, who  were  born, raised and
married in Germany, and came to the  USA  in  1923.  He was
preceded  in  death  by  his  sons, Joseph Edward Blum  and
Michael Henry Blum; and  son-in-law,  Robert Sanchez.  Sur-
vived  by  three  children, Jennifer  Jo Hendler, Paula Sue
Sanchez, and Catherine Blum Heape and husband Judd Heape; seven grand-
childred, Robert, Natasha, Jared, Katie, Scott, Sarah  and  Erika; and
brother, Henry C.Blum, Jr. and wife Donna.

Clem grew up in Fort Collins, CO and graduated from the Colorado School
of Mines as a Geophysical Engineer.  He was active in seismic  explor-
ation for oil and gas in the USA and around the world for 43 years.

After retirement in 1998, he became active in community service at his
church; American Hospice; and  Taping  for the Blind.  A Memorial Mass
will  be  held  2:00pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Catherine of
Siena  Catholic  Church, 10688  Shadow Wood Dr., Houston, Texas 77043.
Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in  Dallas, Texas  at  a  later
date.  In  lieu  of  flowers, memorial  contributions  may  be made to
