The bridge fathometer had been miscalibrated in Singapore. Some basic math on the Geonav display made that evident,
but no one believed it. At about 3am the inevitable happened and the Green ran aground. Not a great deal of damage
was done other than the Geonav transducer was smashed through its seals, thereby flooding the hold which John had
to dive into and close the leak.
